There cheap enough, or a thins sheet of metal wrap it around the piston then get a band clamp and tighten around the rings. set the piston down and line it up with the piston bore and use a dead blow or rubber mallet and just tap it in slowly. There shouldn't be very much resistance. If your having to force it to much there is something wrong. I.E ring gap isn't big enough and its not letting the piston seat in the channel right, or there is some other obstruction. Or the wrong channel. Just be careful and not force them in to much...
